First Time for EVERYTHING

The last six months have been a roller coaster: I experienced culture shock in my own country, I completely gave up smoking, I witnessed my best friend get married to an amazing man, I experienced unemployment (for a little bit too long - am still experiencing that, actually...), I went skiing for the first time, I saw a buffalo, I carried a watermelon (at a fashion shoot for food), and I finished a half marathon. Gosh, I am tired.

  1. Well done! I'm so proud of you for doing it. Loch Ness watch out. ;)

  3. That's great! What was your time? And did you really enjoy it? I ran about 500 yards along the beach today (it was raining and I wanted to get home quickly) and felt, well, a bit knackered. My excuse is that I was wearing wellies, but I know the truth is different. I have no idea how you managed it!

  4. Three hours!! Right on the money. I think most run it between 1.5 and 2.5 hours so we weren't too far off. I am pleased with it. The goal was cross the finish line, run at least six miles, and have fun. I ran nine miles, finished, and had tons of fun!
